Angela White was one of the stars who appeared on the show, and one who has created quite a famous reputation within the porn industry. Dubbed “the Meryl Streep of porn”, the now 35-year-old got candid about her choice career.
“I was a curious teen and I was always fascinated by porn,” she said.
Entering the US industry at just 18 years of age, the Australian performer noted that her first few times acting for camera were far from enjoyable, but that she came to love practice.
“It was a little scary because it was my first time overseas,” she recalled. “Now when I’m fucking on camera it’s much easier than an interview like this.”
And after almost two decades in front of the screen, White hasn’t exhausted her love for the work just yet, stating “they say do something you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.”
But when asked about the aromas on set, White confessed, it’s far from glamorous.
“If it’s a summer day and the air-con isn’t running it smells like sweat,” she stated.

Sydney-based gay performer Woody Fox also appeared on the show, confirming that set aromas are definitely noticeable.
“A professional set smells like just a clean sanitary space… but it can get stinky pretty fast,” he said.
When quizzed about his family’s reaction to his chosen career path, Fox laughed as he shared his father’s undoubtedly expected response.
“My dad flipped when he found out… he freaked out.”
Adding that his own brother is gay and likely watches gay porn, Fox’s main concern is that his loved one’s don’t unsuspectingly stumble across him in the porn archives.

For Rubi Valentine, her family’s reaction was completely derived from a place of concern about her safety.
“As soon as I found you could do [sex] for a job I was like ‘yes what a hack, I’m in,” Valentine explains.
And when it comes to security of the actors and the overall ethics of the industry, Valentine assures it’s completely safe.
“We have consented to all of the acts on screen and we can call cut at any moment,”
However, she adds that in terms of sex on her own terms, her career has inevitably impacted her off-screen relationship with intimacy, telling the show that she finds less sexual activities more arousing than sex itself.
“I’m really into handholding and kissing,” she revealed. “I’m really taking it back to basics, I suppose. That’s more intimate to me.”

Adult actresses, Arianna Kody and Nikki Stern who appeared alongside each other on the show added to this conversation, admitting that their stint in porn had left a negative effect on their sex lives.
